What you need
To join BLUF, you need photos of yourself in gear that matches our dresscode. At least one of these photos must clearly show your face.
Photos should be at least 300x300 pixels, and in JPEG (.jpg) format. They must be less than 800k in size.
You must let us know which country you live in, and whether you want to use your real name on the site, or a nickname.
If you do not meet these requirements, you will not be able to join BLUF.
It only takes a few minutes to apply, but you can stop any time after entering your email address, and resume your application using the code that will be displayed in this panel.
Join BLUF online
Welcome to BLUF's online application system. You can use these pages to apply to join the club, or to add additional information (such as more photos) to an existing application. Please note that this is an experimental service at present, and is only available in English.
How to join
Applying to join BLUF is easy. First, read the 'What you need' panel at the right. When you have your photos and other information, click on Next to start the application wizard.
We will show you the rules for members, and you will have to agree to them. You will then have the chance to review the dresscode, and upload photos that comply with it. Then we'll ask you for some basic information.
Once that's done, we will send an email with a link you must click to start the application, so that you cannot sign up someone else, and we can be sure your address works - so remember to check your spam folder if you do not receive it within a few minutes.
BLUF's admin team will review your application, and one of three things will happen. You may be accepted, and receive a Welcome to BLUF message. You may be rejected, and receive a message telling you so. You may receive an email requesting more information, or different photos, which you can add by returning to this page and selecting "Update or resume an application" from the menu below.
Our signup process uses a secure connection, so no information you send can be intercepted between your computer and our servers.
