BLUF Membership Information

Auf Deutsch / En français

Applying for membership / Conditions / Associate Membership

If you are more than superficially interested in men in full leather uniforms, boots and breeches, you should consider becoming a member of BLUF.

Becoming a member of BLUF gives you access to our password-protected Member Pages with profiles, pictures, stories and other BLUF-related information sent in by members of the club.

Please note the difference between the BLUF Member Pages, which are exclusively available to members of the club, and the public MANcheck Galleries, which can be accessed by anyone with a MANcheck subscription.

Here is an example of what our Member Pages look like:

2000 men in breeches and leather uniforms and you can be one of them!

Applying for membership
BLUF Membership is free. You become a member by sending BLUF an email, stating your full name and address and any other information you want to appear in the Member Index or on your individual BLUF page. Attach at least one picture of yourself in leather uniform or flared breeches. Please check the dresscode below.

Please send only pictures in JPEG format and try not to make the pictures larger than 75KB. Also, state clearly whether you want to use your real name or an alias (nick name). Without a recognizable picture you cannot become a member of BLUF.

Conditions
We reserve the right to refuse membership to anyone. Membership is open to men only. This is an exclusive club for people who have an exclusive fetish in common.

In order to become a member of the club you have to comply with our dress-code, which means you have to conform to either one of the following standards:
- Leather, rubber or fabric jodhpurs (breeches with flares) combined with a uniform-style outfit.
- Any kind of full leather uniform with or without flared breeches. A leather uniform is a uniform made of leather. This may sound obvious but quite a few applicants in the past have proven that they do not know what a leather uniform is. Biker leathers do not constitute a uniform. Leather jeans plus leather jacket may or may not be enough. It all depends on whether it actually looks like a uniform. To achieve the uniform-look, we recommend you wear tall boots, gloves, shirt and tie, a Sam Browne belt, and a cap or police helmet.
- A fabric (motorcycle) cop outfit combined with some leather. If you wear a fabric uniform, you should combine it with: Either a police-style leather jacket or police-style leather pants/breeches.

The pictures you send in for BLUF's Member Index should give sufficient proof that you understand our dress-code, so please, don't send us pictures with fatigues or other army gear, no chaps, no cowboy boots, no rubber, no T-shirts, no bare chests! We are one of the very few clubs on the Internet that maintain a strict dresscode and your membership application will be rejected if you cannot meet the standard.

All personal information and pictures will be treated confidentially, unless you explicitly state that you do not object to having your pictures published in BLUF's Public Picture Galleries.

Associate Membership
The possibility to become an associate member of BLUF (the "Admirers Club") was discontinued in 2002. To those who cannot or do not wish to become members of BLUF we offer our public MANcheck Galleries and the BLUF Forum as a means to contact BLUF members.
