BLUF Local News: London

The Night Tube is here!

Starting Friday 19th of August, London's tube will be running all night on Friday and Saturday nights, and the first lines to launch will provide access to Vauxhall, home to many gay venues, and Mile End, home of London's leather bar The Backstreet.

Services initially start on the Victoria line and the Central line. On the Victoria, they'll serve the whole line every ten minutes, while on the Central Line (which passes through Mile End for The Backstreet), the central section from White City to Leytonstone (including Mile End) will have a train every ten minutes, with a train every 20 minutes on the outer edges of the line.

Night services on the Northern, Piccadilly and Jubilee lines will start in the autumn. Fares will be standard off peak fares.

Hopefully, this will make it much simpler for people in other parts of town to get to and from events like BLUF at The Backstreet.
